25/03/2026: Overall, the experience was rather mixed. To begin with, the green olives served as an appetizer seemed to have been prepared several hours earlier and didn't appear particularly fresh. The oysters served as a starter were good, though a little too small for my taste, and the shallot vinaigrette, which was far too strong, completely overpowered the oyster's flavor. I therefore opted for just the provided piece of lemon. The main course, a piece of beef with homemade fries, lacked presentation, which was far too simple. A small piece of endive rested on the meat, accompanied by a slice of parsley butter—we've seen more striking presentations. The quality of the meat itself was impeccable. The homemade fries, served in a separate bowl, were very good, but the dish would have benefited from a sauce (pepper, Roquefort, etc.) and a small salad (a common accompaniment in other restaurants of the same price range). The dish was good, but the side dishes could have been more refined. For dessert, the crème caramel was very good. Overall, the ingredients are good, but the presentation is really too simple and lacks that little something extra (that you often find elsewhere) that makes you want to come back. Finally, a quick word about the waitstaff, who are professional and pleasant.
24/03/2026: After a wonderful meal, we discovered that the funicular stops running at 8:45 pm. Unfortunately, it was already 9:00 pm when we arrived. We walked back to the restaurant to ask for a taxi, but they only run during the day. Without hesitation, the friendly waitress offered to drive us to the top in her own car. What amazing service, what a stroke of luck for us! Grande Merci, thank you so much, thanks a lot!!!
