La Plage des Neiges sur Huez

We've been coming to this mountain restaurant several times a year for the past few years during the ski season. The staff are always cheerful and try their best to help and accommodate you. It's very pleasant. The food, from the main courses to the pizzas, is quite good. Although prices have increased this year while the quality has remained the same, that's the case throughout the resort. It's a lovely place to eat with friends or family, either inside or outside. Pedestrians can reach the restaurant with a 30-45 minute walk along the snow-covered footpath from the base area or by gondola (Les Jeux or DMC).

I went for lunch two days in a row, and it's simply an exceptional place, both for the setting and the friendliness of the waitresses. I highly recommend it, and the food is delicious too! I'll gladly go back again in two weeks! Don't change a thing, it's fantastic! 👍

A wonderful experience at this mountain restaurant. The dishes were excellent and well-prepared, but the real highlight was the service. The servers were truly attentive, helpful, and very friendly, which made the meal even more enjoyable. There was a genuinely pleasant atmosphere and a real focus on the customers. I highly recommend this place.

The best of the Alps Kitchen service

Superb restaurant, quiet, clean, beautiful view. The food is fresh and delicious. Pleasant and fast service! In fact, we've been going here exclusively for years! But that was before. We came this week (January 2026) and were very disappointed! I'm taking away two stars! First of all, it was very cold in the restaurant; we ate in our down jackets. The fish and chips tasted processed, the filet mignon with mustard sauce had tough meat, and the pizza was okay. Fortunately, the service is still friendly.

We've been stopping here every year for over 20 years, and the quality is always there. That's so rare for a mountain restaurant. And the service is always top-notch. Please don't change a thing.

Excellent and beautifully presented dishes. You're greeted with a smile, even on a Sunday. A great spot with a lovely view of the resort and the Muzelle mountain. We'll have to come back and eat in the bubble.
