We are not from Hendaye but have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. We came in May and found the welcome from the owner cold - we came back for lunch yesterday. Cold, distant reception which despite top-notch cuisine does not make us want to come back - the restaurant is we are all disappointed

Excellent restaurant, we had the saithe with seeds and balsamic vinegar, a treat! And the strawberry pana/pavlova and Queen Claudes rounded off our meal wonderfully. THANKS !

Every time we come to Hendaye, a dinner at ITSAS ZALDI is a must. Always a treat for the taste buds with fresh products, perfectly cooked. Thanks again and of course we will come back.

03/09/2024: An excellent meal from starter to dessert with delicious sangria. We had a great time, the portions were generous, the prawns were delicious and fresh, the grilled hake with squid ink tagliatelle was to die for. In short, I recommend going through the Odyssey if you are passing through Hendaye
21/08/2024: Excellent cuisine, fresh products and prepared with care. Pleasant atmosphere with a view of the bay, far from the hustle and bustle of the beach restaurants. Special mention for the squids on the plancha!

Boulangerie Bio Eskuz

12/07/2024: During the day, their bread is sold at the small "grocery" store just next to it. Hands down the best bread I've eaten in a long time in France, all the way from Haut Medoc to here. Best baguette, period. I also had their fig bread, and it's to die for. Glad to know some people still take pride in their craft, and make good quality bread.
08/07/2024: We really liked the service that the employees have given us. Young and very nice people. Behind the counter you see how they are making the bread and the different products. The bread, the coulant and the croissants were delicious and I have seen some burgers prepared that looked amazing. This site is highly recommended.
