I had a steak. It was rather hard, but the taste was good and the sauce very good. Overall I recommend for the atmosphere not for the food.

Zero fresh ingredients, everything is of poor quality. What a shame, a tourist trap!

A wonderful experience first thing in the morning, centrally located, and the best part was having the waiter, Suleiman, an Algerian Berber.

Very good experience, friendly staff, fast service despite the crowds during this UTMB period. Good and generous meal.

Absolutely fantastic. We had croziflette and a Savoyard escalope, accompanied by an Aperol spritz and a Génépi spritz. After that, we had no room for dessert.

Le Bartavel

08/09/2026: The pizza was excellent. The service was too. Everything was perfect.
28/08/2026: We had a very pleasant time at this establishment. The pizza was excellent, as were the pasta dishes (the only slight drawback was that it needed a little more salt). The waitress was friendly and efficient. The price-quality ratio is reasonable for Chamonix. We will gladly return.
