La Primatiale was the first restaurant I ever had lunch at, ten years ago now, when I moved to the area. It was love at first sight, both for its beauty and the quality of the food, as well as for the friendliness of the waiters and managers. For me, it's now a tradition to have lunch or dinner there with friends visiting Nancy, or to celebrate the birthdays of loved ones. In fact, last Saturday, my husband and I booked a table for Valentine's Day. The set six-course menu was divine. The meat and fish were cooked to perfection, the seasonings were bold without overpowering the dishes, and above all—and this is worth mentioning because it's becoming increasingly rare—the timing of the service was perfect. The waiter doesn't pounce on your plate the moment you finish eating. The wait between courses is neither too short nor too long. For all these positive points, I find the value for money quite excellent. Expect to pay 50 euros per person for a complete menu, excluding wine pairing, except on special occasions. In short, we will definitely be back.

We had a very good meal and the waiter was very pleasant; the only thing missing was a slightly sweet wine for the aperitif, such as Pinot Gris, Gaillac, or something similar, to accompany some appetizers; otherwise, it was very good.
