This little restaurant was worth a review. The homemade fries are excellent, and so are the sausages (a welcome change from the "plastic" sausages you see in snack bars). Very friendly staff. Keep up the good work!

We stopped after a hike to have a couple of beers and some food. The frites Maison and galette were amazing! The framboise tart as well. Really nice service and fair prices. We want back the day after :)

30/08/2026: After a great climb to the glaciers, a refreshing break is very welcome. Friendly staff, well-maintained grounds, and reasonable prices. I recommend it 😊.

Hotel Restaurant Engilberge

02/08/2026: I wasn't staying at the hotel; it was just to eat with friends. The meal was decent, but not up to restaurant standards. Luckily, there was trout, which was well-prepared (but very easy to make at home); the starter, side dish, and dessert were basic and uninspired. In short, a decent canteen.
12/07/2026: Small but nice rooms, welcoming and friendly service. Good breakfast with fresh bread and excellent homemade jams, eggs, and savory options. Amazing food: every dinner was a delight!
