A great time spent with colleagues 😊

An eventful evening at Quincaillerie Générale in Montrouge. I wanted to share my experience from last night. We had booked a table for 9:30 pm with friends, eager to see what was on the menu. Between chatting and ordering a nice bottle of wine, time flew by... and a wonderful surprise spiced things up: a friend who had just arrived from Corsica joined us at 11:10 pm! ✈️ The only slight hitch: In our excitement, we lost track of time, and when we went to order our food, the kitchen had just closed for service. A brief moment of panic, as we were really looking forward to dinner! 😅 The gesture that made all the difference: The manager was very understanding. After checking in with her team, she came back to offer us an alternative: a generous cheese platter (since the hot food service was finished). But what really touched us was her gesture of goodwill: she offered us our bottle of Chablis to make up for our disappointment. 🍷✨ In short: Even though I was left wanting more because I would have loved to try their signature dishes, I want to commend the professionalism and kindness of the manager. Such a warm welcome makes you want to come back! We'll definitely be back to try the menu; we'll gladly return (and order a little earlier next time!).

Family dinner at this friendly restaurant (which we've been to before). Welcoming staff and fairly quick service. The red meat is always excellent (ribeye steak), and the cheeseburger of the day was delicious. Just one minor complaint about the farm-raised pork chop, which was unfortunately tough and therefore very dry (was this due to the inherent quality of the meat? Or the cooking?). We mentioned this to the manager, who kindly offered us a dessert – a very thoughtful and considerate gesture.

A great spot for after-work drinks, lunch, and dinner! In summer, the terrace is lovely, and in winter, the interior is warm and inviting with its charming decor. Very friendly. The menu is seasonal with daily specials. A Parisian vibe in the suburbs, with both pros and cons.

It's good, especially the Irish.

The service was excellent despite the busy evening. No fewer than four people were on hand to set the table and provide top-notch customer service. I highly recommend it. It's rare to find an establishment of this caliber in Paris.

I regret the lack of privacy; the tables inside were far too close together, especially since I had a reservation. We were initially seated right next to an emergency exit, which was very uncomfortable, and we felt the strong drafts. We were moved to another table, but it took a very long time to take our order. Once we ordered, our aperitifs were served fairly quickly, but we barely had time to take a few sips before the main course arrived... and then there was a much longer wait for dessert. The place is very large; it's a shame that profitability was prioritized over privacy.
