The €21.90 lunch menu is excellent value for money. We tried the "La Rosette" wine, a good wine we hadn't tried before. The crème brûlée and the walnut cake were both very good. Highly recommended.

Norman gave us a most welcoming reception. We had lunch with two friends and their dogs on the terrace. Duck confit and Sarlat-style potatoes washed down with a Pécharmant wine, all while listening to music in front of the cathedral. Thank you for this wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time at La Rapière. The beef, duck breast, and Périgord salad were absolutely delicious. The staff is welcoming, friendly, attentive, and truly warm. A must-visit in Sarlat, thank you for this superb experience! A new restaurant that deserves an Oscar!

30/04/2026: I had a wonderful dining experience here! Even though it is a fast-food style restaurant, the quality of the food and the prices make the value for money (CP value) incredibly high. We ordered the Confit de Canard (Duck Confit) and the Pâtes Sarladaises. The duck was cooked to perfection—the skin was incredibly crispy while the meat remained tender and fell off the bone. The Sarladais-style pasta was a real treat; the foie gras sauce was rich and velvety, pairing beautifully with the smoky flavor of the magret fumé. To drink, we tried the local Vin de Noix (Walnut Wine) and the refreshing Limonade BIO de Sarlat. Both were excellent additions to our meal. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and a huge plus is that they are pet-friendly! If you are looking for authentic flavors and a warm atmosphere without breaking the bank, this is the place to go!

11/05/2026: Everything was perfect: generous portions of excellent quality ingredients, all served in a stunning medieval setting. Special mention goes to the staff, whose kindness and humor immediately put you at ease. A fantastic experience; you truly feel comfortable there. A must-visit in Sarlat!
