My Fiancé and I went during our trip to France. The food and the service was amazing. It was a great little spot to have an incredible meal. On our next trip back we will be booking another reservation to have another unforgettable meal!

What can I say?
From the amuse-bouche to dessert, everything was simply exquisite.
My partner and I ordered two different menus, each with a different starter, main course, and dessert. We both tasted each other's dishes, and everything was sublime.
The portions were just right; we didn't leave the restaurant feeling hungry. The dishes and the ingredients used are of exceptional quality.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
Special mention to the waiter and the woman who was there (probably the manager?), who were absolutely fantastic! Warm, kind, professional, and pleasant—perfect, just like our evening.

We split our time in France between Paris and the Normandy region and this was by far the best dinner we had on our trip. The building is old and beautiful and our dinner far surpassed the beauty of the building. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and very attentive. I had turbot with pan seared scallops and my wife had a very creative take on ramen - both dishes were outstanding. I told the staff after our dinner that I would have come back for a second dinner if we had more time to spend in the Normandy region. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation if you are planning a trip to Bayeux.

Fantastic restaurant, excellent cuisine with a seasonal menu – a huge congratulations to the chef and his team! The servers are top-notch. I highly recommend this place.

In the heart of Bayeux, you'll find La Rapière tucked away on a small side street off the main road, 200 meters from the tourist office and a short walk from the Halle aux Grains (Grain Market).
Refined cuisine and excellent service. Beautiful setting.

Hands down the best meal in town. The service was attentive and not overbearing and each course was absolutely amazing. A surprise detail of the meal was their attentiveness to my lactose intolerance. I had noted it in our reservation and when we arrived they had already printed a menu with all the items that I could safely order. This is a detail that I didn't expect, but appreciated so much! The meal was one of the best we had during our trip to France. Merci!

Our best dinner the 3 weeks my husband and I were in France! The service was also excellent. Need to make reservations far in advance but totally worth it. Do not miss this place if you are in the area.
