La Reine Margot sur Mont-Dore

04/08/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch, a party of four, without a reservation. We received a very warm welcome; the waiter immediately brought us a bowl of water for our dog. We ordered truffade, which we enjoyed, and the charcuterie was very good. My only complaint is that the beers are sold in bottles, but I understand the choice. The local lemonade is very good. A major plus: the waiter was very friendly and gave us helpful recommendations. I recommend it.

04/08/2026: How to put it? Nice setting, good food... BUT served so quickly, we'd barely started our aperitifs before the main courses arrived... With two children aged 6 and 10, we were rushed through in less than an hour, without even feeling like we'd had a chance to enjoy ourselves...
