La Route du Miam sur Nice

It was such a great experience. I’m really happy that I found a place like this. Everything was wonderful, from the atmosphere to the service, and I truly enjoyed every moment. It’s not easy to come across a place that leaves such a good impression, so I’m really glad I discovered it. I’ll definitely be coming back again and recommending it to others.

I'm a real stickler when it comes to restaurant service and quality... But this was 10 stars, and in my neighborhood, La Libération, no less! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This was absolutely one of my favorite dining experiences while in nice! Marie and her husband were soo welcoming and truly make you feel like part of the family in their restaurant. The duck was absolutely outstanding and a LARGE portion. I had been wanting to make sure I got to this place during my trip, and I was so so lucky they had a table open for me as a solo diner on a Thursday evening. I would highly recommend this place to any and all traveling in nice and am so happy and thankful that a place like this, and people like Marie and her husband exist to let us experience this!

At Marie and Jean-Michel's, you're welcomed like family. You arrive as if you were part of the family, put your feet up, and are served with both quality and quantity. The dishes were delicious, authentic Southwestern cuisine, what a pleasure! And the welcome was simply divine; you feel like you're part of the family. It was a magical moment in a restaurant seemingly frozen in time, run in perfect harmony by this couple who delighted us. We enjoyed the half duck and the lamb shank; the portions were worthy of the grandest banquets, and I repeat, the Southwestern cuisine was perfectly executed, along with a vision of customer service that truly sets it apart. From the food, to the service, to the atmosphere, I cannot say enough about how AMAZING everything was! Marie and her husband were so kind, nurturing, and wholesome owners. They really made you feel like you were family! This was quite literally the best meal we had in Nice. The duck was so savory and fresh and the fois gras is unlike any other we’ve ever tried. A true hidden gem in Nice and I highly recommend you try! Thank you to Marie and her husband!

Resto La Route Du Miam was the best dining experience I had during my time in France (Paris included). I wanted to dine solo, and when I spoke a week prior to Marie, the wife of the couple who owns it, she couldn’t give me an availability, but she said she wouldn’t forget me. And she didn’t! The reached out to me with availability and got me a table outside. I let them choose a wine and duck meal for me, and it was phenomenal. It felt like a home cooked meal, which made this experience unique compared to any other place you could find. Very lovely and fun couple. Definitely try to get into this place if you’re in the area!

A wonderful discovery! The welcome was warm, the staff friendly, and the food excellent. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors were spot on. We will definitely be back.

AMAZING! This is by far the best meal and experience I and my family had in a restaurant. Marie and Jean-Mi(the owners) are awsome at what they do, and quite simply put, good hearted welcoming people! Our beautiful evening with them will probably never be matched elsewhere.
