A very pleasant surprise. Restaurant located on the beautiful Place Royale, in the heart of Pau, near Bd des Pyrénées. Quality cuisine, fresh products. The service is efficient and friendly. And the prices are very reasonable. I recommend without hesitation

Piuttosto caro per quanto offre. Menù solo in francese, poca conoscenza del l’inglese. Sul cibo: menu essenziale, carne dura e callosa, dolce un po’ troppo dolce. Non ci tornerei.

Excellent daily menu, well presented, tasty, and very reasonably priced. We had a great time and I would like to emphasize the very warm welcome. My grandmother had a little sore throat and the waiter offered her a honey herbal tea which she found delicious. We really appreciated this attention and also the dishes which were very good.

15/10/2024: Passing through Pau. It's been a long time since I ate duck. So I stopped there, duck being the specialty. I chose half a duck breast with honey. Very well balanced dish, the duck breast cooked as requested, all accompanied by a good glass of wine. Enough to spend a good evening. Fair price. The chef goes around the tables, which has become rare.
11/10/2024: Very good meal: duck confit, new potatoes, excellent salad and French toast dessert with shards of “suede” yoghurt ice cream, killer.....!!!! Very friendly welcome. I recommend...
