We had a lovely informal dinner in this restaurant. The enthusiasm of the team infectious - with an admirable desire to make sure our food and wine pairings were spot on. Definitely recommend!

We had the menu of the day: the pork confit and the sirloin steak, and some wine. For dessert, we had the apple tarte tatin. Everything was so delicious. The pork was so tender, the sauce of the steak was so good. The meats were cooked perfectly. The apple tarte tatin is a must try. The dishes were reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We would happily eat here again and we would definitely recommend this place to others as well.

The layout the day we went was 3 tables of 4 and 7 tables of 2 so be sure to reserve a table in advance. There was only one server and she did a fantastic job of serving the entire restaurant as it filled up between 7:30 and 8:45. Duck confit was a special and it was so delicious. The wine and all the starters, entrees and the dessert we shared were terrific.

Fabrique de Macarons

06/07/2025: We made a quick stop here as we were leaving town. Although they are known for macarons, we stoped in for canelés. They were delicious! If we had known how much we would enjoy them, we would have bought more! 😁 Also, the woman who helped us was very sweet and helpful considering our language barrier. Next time we will get both the macarons and canelés!
11/06/2025: The real ones, the only ones, the unique ones are Nadia Fermigier's macaroons. She has the real recipe. I'm from Saint-Emilion myself. I was fooled, thinking they were the same. I bought some in another shop, absolutely nothing to do with them. They keep poorly and the taste, let's talk about it, it wasn't the same at all.

16/11/2025: A typically French restaurant, with a super playful and pleasant service which is frankly very nice, the dishes were good and the value for money was more than fair for the area.
16/11/2025: The service was incredibly fast, even though we were in a hurry. It was very busy, but they still managed to serve us quickly. The food was simple but good quality, and the staff were really friendly. If I'm ever back in Saint-Émilion, I'll definitely return and take more time to enjoy it.
