Reception a little cold without really finding a reservation made by email although validated... Customers without reservations took it for their rank. Either. Careful and original dishes. Tips for pairing wine. Pleasant room, few tables so it's almost intimate. Service with good timing but we felt a little pressure. Bad day? Incorrect addition with an extra coffee but we will say that it was the little extra.

The burger was delicious, with a pesto bun which was a great surprise, and the meat was very juicy. The shrimp ravioli had an exquisite flavor and a broth that brought out the flavor of the seafood. We loved our main courses, especially the taste of the meats. The pork belly had great flavor and was creamy in the mouth. The cordon bleu was juicy with a sauce that enhanced the flavor of the meat. Dessert was a pavlova whose cream was well balanced and the red fruit sauce brought out the flavor of the meringue and cream very well.

Very good meal. Everything is done on site and it shows. Pleasant service with a waitress who knows how to advise you. It costs around €60/person for E+P+D, an aperitif glass and a glass of wine. We enjoyed ourselves. There are also options for vegetarians.

Fabrique de Macarons

06/07/2025: We made a quick stop here as we were leaving town. Although they are known for macarons, we stoped in for canelés. They were delicious! If we had known how much we would enjoy them, we would have bought more! 😁 Also, the woman who helped us was very sweet and helpful considering our language barrier. Next time we will get both the macarons and canelés!
11/06/2025: The real ones, the only ones, the unique ones are Nadia Fermigier's macaroons. She has the real recipe. I'm from Saint-Emilion myself. I was fooled, thinking they were the same. I bought some in another shop, absolutely nothing to do with them. They keep poorly and the taste, let's talk about it, it wasn't the same at all.

L'Envers du Decor

30/10/2024: Vores besøg på L’Envers du Decor hævede sig desværre ikke mærkbart over det middelmådige. Forretten var italiensk inspireret - en arancini (risottokugle) med lidt sauce og en enkel rucola salat. Udmærket. Hovedretten var oksekæbe i rødvin med kartofler, urter og svampe. Oksekødet var desværre meget sejt, hvilket er en klar fejl, for da der er tale om en simreret, skal kødet være helt mørt og nærmest falde fra hinanden ved serveringen. Tarte Tatin’en var en moderne version og var rigtig lækker og blev serveret med en kugle vanilleis og små æbletern. Dagens bedste ret. Da niveauet for de tre retter er noget svingende - hhv. 3, 2 1/2 og 4 - lander vi desværre kun på et 3-tal.
21/09/2024: Great classic French bistro food. We stumbled here when it was very busy and they were able to fit us in! We expected it to be a bit of a trap due to the location but boy were we wrong! The food was excellent, as was the wine. It’s pricey, but the food is worth the price. We enjoyed the tartar, steak and fish dish!
