A wonderful, traditional and down-to-earth French restaurant. Just the way I like it. The communication via email when booking was very informative and friendly; we were informed that it was the start of the season and that not everything might be quite perfect yet. But we didn’t notice any of that – the owner gave us a warm, unpretentious welcome, single-handedly assigned our table, took our order, cooked and served us. What an outstanding Artist! The menu selection and the food were just as I’ve always loved them in France. A fantastic, wide selection of dishes per course, yet only a few. Perhaps I should explain what I mean: in many restaurants, the menu is huge, perhaps pages long, yet the choice is very limited. For the starter, I chose the homemade (everything is homemade in this kitchen) foie gras, which, although so simple, is a supreme art form. And I was delighted: perfectly tempered, tender and incredibly flavourful – a dream! We also enjoyed all the other dishes – solid, traditional culinary art. And all this from a chef who, although very busy, was always relaxed and friendly, as if it were all a piece of cake. Thank you for the evening, we come again.

The restaurant La Table d'Aurore is very nice; the welcome from the new waitress is pleasant, the dishes are very good, well presented, and in generous portions. The terrace is very pleasant, quiet, and offers a beautiful view.
