We came for a simple coffee and left with stars in our eyes. Thank you to the owners and the creator of this place for such a warm welcome from a lover of santons (Provençal figurines).

I returned after 20 years and Mr. Prouget recognized me immediately. I bought some figurines to complete my nativity scene and went for lunch in the tea room. It was pure bliss! And the icing on the cake was a visit to the Hôtel Le Guillaume d'Orange – pure bliss! A wonderful time with Aurore in the kitchen. Thank you again!

Thank you to Jacques for taking the time to talk with us. His life story is very interesting. His passion for his art of making santons is remarkable. The visit to the small museum is also enjoyable. There is an incredible reconstruction of a Mediterranean village depicting scenes of daily life, which must have required countless hours of work.

27/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a truly wonderful time at Vent de Soleil in Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert 😊 First of all, the welcome was fantastic, with smiling and friendly staff – it was a real pleasure! The restaurant is very well located, right on the village square, with a lovely atmosphere. It's so nice to sit down and enjoy the setting after exploring Saint-Guilhem. We ordered the Caprice du Berger, a croque-monsieur, and a croque-madame: everything was delicious and well-presented. And of course, we finished with a little something sweet 😋 Nutella waffle, Nutella crepe, and whipped cream waffle… we really indulged! A simple, pleasant, and friendly place, with great food and excellent service. We'll gladly return on our next visit to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert! ❤️
27/08/2026: Super bruschetta. Crispy, juicy, delicious cheese, well-seasoned and topped. They only offer light meals and drinks. But the location is unique, under a huge plane tree. Parking is available on the outskirts of town in the large visitor parking lots.

Sur Le Chemin De Compostelle

14/08/2026: Not disappointed at all with this find, a quality restaurant! An affordable set menu (starter, main course and dessert) for €30 that won us over. The dishes are generous and excellent!
12/08/2026: A very pleasant place, impeccable service, a set menu with several choices, all homemade. For once, a restaurant without fries! My teenager loved the vegetables. I highly recommend it.
