We had lunch and everything was perfect from the appetizer to the dessert 🍨
The chocolate mousse 🍫 was pure bliss!

A seasoned chef opens a restaurant not for himself, but for his protégé. Émile Cotte (Baca’v Boulogne, formerly of 110 Taillevent and Drouant) has partnered with his trusted right-hand man, José Dantas, and handed him the reins. After nine years working side-by-side, José is now both chef and owner.
The name pays homage to Albufera sauce (created by Antonin Carême for the Duke of Albufera, celebrated by Escoffier) and to José's Portuguese heritage. The menu is short, Mediterranean, and generous, designed for sharing.
The Albufera rice with roast duck arrives at the center of the table. The crispy sardine with aioli has the precision of a palace presentation. The chocolate mousse with olive oil and fleur de sel is shared by spoonfuls from a large bowl.
Special mention goes to the Castalie water on the tables (of course, it speaks to me ❤️💦).

We dined at the Albufera restaurant and everything was perfect: the service, and especially the quality of our meal, from appetizer to dessert.
The duck dish, the chef's specialty, was surprising and absolutely delicious!
A big thank you to the front-of-house team for the smooth and pleasant service. We will definitely be back!

The atmosphere was quite pleasant, with a nice little terrace in good weather, and the service was efficient and attentive. However, I was much less impressed with the food; the flambéed prawns as a starter were ruined by an overly abundant and unidentifiable sauce, which was a shame because the side dish was nice. As for the picanha, the pepper sauce completely overwhelmed its flavor. Both dishes were also far too salty; however, the fries were exceptionally crispy. For over €50 for a starter and main course, it wasn't worth it. Personally, I won't be going back.
