The cuisine was very good, we opted for the party menu, which was a treat, but the service is worth seeing again. We also regret that the Fontfroide wines are no longer represented in the restaurant, knowing that we are in the middle of the abbey in a setting Magnificent

Rather disappointed! Group meal planned for 70 people including 2 no-shows (case of force majeure) we paid for 69 people. Only one person was the subject of a commercial gesture...& rigid reasoning not very credible... especially since 2 years ago for 6 defections we had no extra!!! Decent meal without more…
Times change… so do opinions..

While passing through Fontfroide Abbey we discovered the restaurant. Magnificent setting, pleasant welcome, friendly atmosphere and delicious cuisine!
Perfect forest egg, candied pork loin, red cabbage, new potatoes, puree
Rum baba with pineapple compote and whipped cream! Excellent ! We recommend. Very reasonable price.

We have had a very good meal as a family. We ate a rich menu with good quality-price ratio and attentive waiters. After the visit to the abbey it was a nice closing! Many thanks to the "La table de Fontfroide" team 🙏

With Reservation (made more than 3 weeks in advance) at 12:15 p.m., cold reception by the room manager, table in the middle of the restaurant just outside the kitchen doors... it started off badly for us. As a professional in the field, I agree with the opinions of certain customers. The quality of the dishes certainly reassures us, however, the service is not up to par with the cuisine. With an average ticket of €50, I am surprised to see the waitresses clear the glasses by putting their fingers in them and without a tray. Perhaps a little training on the basics of the service is to be expected. It’s a shame because the place is superb.

Living near Béziers, I went with my wife to this restaurant on 11/14/2024. From the moment we booked, we noticed the friendliness of the staff, which was confirmed upon our arrival. We chose the starter, main course and dessert menu, priced at €42. All of the dishes reveal exquisite flavors that will keep your taste buds asking for more. Our amazement was such that we only left the place after having re-booked a table for the next day. Take a detour if you can because what you taste will stay with you for a long time 😋😋😋😋😋

We ate a toast with cheese, lots of bread. The chicken supreme was delicious, tender, not dry. For dessert, a French toast-style brioche with ice cream and very average custard.
Service a little chaotic, some guests were forgotten about the dish and were served out of sync with the others.

Déjeuner avant une visite guidée de l'abbaye. Cadre agréable, bon accueil et la cuisine est bonne. Le personnel bien qu'en sous effectif a bien assuré et avec amabilité. Nous avons pris une sangria blanche (dommage pas de rouge) en apéritif à 6 €. Je ne l'ai pas trouvé terrible (c'est personnel) trop amère et en plus beaucoup (trop) de glaçons. Ensuite menu Père Abbé avec entrée, plat dessert à 42 € et une bouteille de rosé local cuvée des terrasses à 22€. Les plats étaient bons et bien servis. En plat Le Coronita de Cochon Duroc de Batallé est à conseiller.
Une bonne adresse à conseiller.
