A wonderful discovery and a great encounter. The restaurateurs are also committed to training young people for the service industry. Finally, someone who knows how to make dried pears! The rest of the meal was perfectly seasoned. We hadn't planned anything for lunch, and it was a pleasant surprise. Thank you 🙏

We stopped by for dessert and tea at the end of the evening. It was a very pleasant experience on the terrace. The food was homemade, everything was delicious, and we were warmly welcomed.
The iced nougat was very good, as was the white chocolate panna cotta, a delight for the taste buds.
We will definitely return for a full menu because it looked tempting!

La Table de Jeanne in Chinon is a restaurant located on Rue Voltaire, below the castle. It offers homemade French cuisine, showcasing local specialties.
The menu includes dishes such as coq au vin, rabbit pâté, duck breast with Chinon wine confit, pikeperch, and the famous Rivarennes pear stew, which is excellent! Several set menus are available, combining two or three dishes. The setting is calm and pleasant, with the option of enjoying a street-side terrace on sunny days. The welcome is warm and friendly. The value for money is excellent.
A great place in Chinon to discover regional cuisine in a friendly atmosphere.

Came to visit the region with family. We had the opportunity to have lunch twice at Jeanne's table. The food is tasty and well cooked. We appreciated the kindness of the staff, the delicious dishes and the wines that accompany them 🫢. We had a great meal there last night on our last day of vacation with our 3-year-old son. The food is very good, the meat is cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and pleasant. Thank you, I recommend it.
