Absolutely delicious! Excellent French cuisine! Highly recommended! One suggestion for improvement would be to add background music, but otherwise, nothing to complain about!

Good place for dinner. Menu's are varied enough to suit. I enjoyed terrine and the Coq au Vin, really enjoyed the fish, sorbets and dried pear also. The wine list is decent with considerable choice by 1/2 bottle. Definitely worth a vist, service was also convivial, friendly and knowledgeable.

The manager was rather undiplomatic with the customer. The €24 menu wasn't offered online. Be careful when the bill arrives.

The manager is unfriendly and doesn't offer all the menu options when we make our reservation. Furthermore: carefully check the bill: the filet mignon is €24.50 on the bill and €24.00 on the menu.

The manager is unfriendly to her staff. Not diplomatic with customers. Only looks out for her own financial gain. Doesn't offer all the menus, including the €24 one. The filet mignon is listed à la carte at €24 but charged at €24.50... Check the bill carefully.

28/08/2026: Great find! We chose thé set menu with Salmon starter & cod main (which sounds quite boring) and were amazed by thé creativity, tastes & detail in thé dishes. Similarly with thé desserts of îles flottantes & nougat parfait, all accompagnied by a lovely Chablis chosén directly from thé wine cellar. Thé cheese trolley looked fab but we were too full to try it. Great service too!
28/08/2026: It's excellent, and a special mention goes to the cuttlefish tagliatelle carbonara, which is absolutely divine! Special mention also goes to the drinks list, which, despite seeming old-fashioned, is a treasure trove of discoveries! Don't miss it under any circumstances!

02/03/2026: A bit disappointed with the quality of the hot meal and the completely wrecked parking lot, which is a shame.
25/02/2026: A roadside diner-style restaurant at the entrance to Chinon. The decor is rather old-fashioned, but it has its charm. Quick and efficient service for a hearty and generous cuisine.
