Unexpected stopover in Chinon, reservation made en route for eight on the terrace. The dishes were beautifully presented and quite appealing, with a special mention for the perfectly prepared kidneys! The staff were friendly and accommodating; in short, a successful lunch break!

A delightful discovery. Delicious dishes from appetizer to dessert. Set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €30 (excluding drinks) with a good selection. Pleasant decor. Service provided by a very pleasant young woman. Good value for money.

17/05/2026: The food was okay, but nothing special, the prices were very high, and the desserts were definitely frozen (at €9.50, that's pushing it). The welcome was inconsistent depending on the customer (some were offered to "take your coat," while others weren't). Furthermore, the service was rather poor: the waiter didn't clear the cutlery between the starter and main course, there was no interaction, and again, the prices were very high for a set menu with few choices and no flexibility whatsoever. I do not recommend this restaurant.
10/05/2026: Excellent food, quiet location, very friendly staff. Calm and pleasant atmosphere.
