Absolutely delicious dishes. I recommend the coconut egg with camembert cream. A pure delight at a very reasonable price. A great place to eat.

Passing through Chinon, we stopped there with two children. The children's menu is truly excellent and generous. They thoroughly enjoyed the fresh, well-prepared food (homemade nuggets). The meat was just as good for children as it was for adults. The burger was very good, and the chocolate mousse and tiramisu were excellent. Don't hesitate to stop by.

Fabulous! Top-notch service. Generous, flavorful, and delicious cuisine. A set menu for €22 👌 Crepes made fresh to order at the counter. The must-visit spot in Chinon.

It doesn't look clean; the bathrooms are small and dirty. I thought the service was good. The food was just okay.

La Table de Jeanne

24/09/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. We tried the set menu (which included coq au vin). The service was attentive and the food was exactly what we liked. Quality ingredients and expertise. It's not every day you find such good, home-style cooking and friendly service.
21/09/2026: Lovely staff and authentic atmosphere. Let down by the fish which seemed a little stale. Faith restored by the remarquable Tarte Citron. Also, the dining room is rather small and the tables are quite close together.

Le Relais de la Foret

23/09/2026: The meals are good and plentiful, the service is quick, and the staff are friendly. Excellent value for money. Thank you for the warm welcome. We will be back.
21/09/2026: I'm giving it 4 stars for the atmosphere and the parking, like any trucker would. Since I only go in the mornings and very rarely, I can't comment on the food because I've never had the chance to eat there.
