The dishes are original and full of flavor, and the value for money is excellent! It's a beautifully decorated restaurant with two sections: an upper room and a lower room, both overlooking the racetrack. The service is warm and efficient; I highly recommend it!

The portions were very small; one of my guests asked for a gluten-free salad. For €16, she received lettuce leaves and four small tomatoes – very disappointing. The service was adequate, and there was little wait for the food.

Excellent value for money for the lunch menu. The staff are professional and welcoming. The setting, overlooking the racecourse, is truly pleasant. The only slight drawback: the windows could be better maintained to fully enjoy the view.

A wonderful discovery today. Everything was perfect. An excellent meal from start to finish with impeccable service that deserves special mention. I would also like to thank the waitress who thoughtfully and discreetly placed a candle on my dessert for this special occasion.

Very welcoming and excellent service. Quality food at a reasonable price. The only downside was the slightly noisy dining room. But I highly recommend this restaurant, which has a very pleasant view of the racecourse.

I came to the Hippodrome de Bordeaux for a seminar and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The first day, we had a cocktail lunch, then the following day a sit-down lunch, and everything was truly excellent. Absolutely no complaints! Special mention goes to the homemade canelés, which were absolutely delicious! The staff were also very friendly!

22/08/2026: We loved it, it was delicious and the staff were lovely.
18/08/2026: The food was good, but the service was far too rushed. We came for lunch as a couple, hoping to enjoy a pleasant meal and take our time. However, the pace of the service was truly disappointing. Thirty minutes after we arrived at the restaurant, the main courses were already on the table. We had ordered cocktails, several appetizers to share, etc. Needless to say, we didn't have time to taste the cocktails before the appetizers arrived, and after we'd swallowed the last bite, fork still in hand, they practically pounced on us to move on to the next course 😅 And what's more, we were repeatedly asked if we had finished, even though our plates were still full…🥲 For an establishment of this caliber, and considering the price of the bill, we expect to be able to enjoy the moment, without feeling pressured to vacate the table as quickly as possible. It's a real shame, because the food was good and the staff was pleasant. But in this type of establishment, the service shouldn't just be efficient; it should also allow customers time to enjoy their meal. Ultimately, this is what significantly marred our experience.

11/08/2026: Friendly and professional staff. We enjoyed our meal on the terrace. Inside, the air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat.
09/08/2026: The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's very pleasant inside. However, the only downside is the caramel sundae, which is really not great. It's not the smooth vanilla ice cream you'd expect. The quality and taste were really disappointing. I don't recommend this dessert.
