We had a reservation, but unfortunately we arrived a day too early. It wasn't a problem at all; we were seated even though the restaurant was fully booked—thank you so much again! The food was of exceptional quality—every dish was truly delicious—wow! The tuna served with veal jus, or the Japanese butter, mmm—the sauces in general were incredible. The service, as mentioned, was excellent. All the staff were young and very dedicated. We felt very comfortable and were thrilled.

A gourmet stopover overlooking the port of L'Herbaudière
I absolutely loved this charming little house, perched right on the fishing port. The cuisine is honest, generous, and rooted in the island's bounty—the fish is impeccably fresh, and the flavors speak for themselves.
Now I love seafood!
The service is warm and attentive; you feel like a regular from your very first visit. The atmosphere is convivial, with that authentic charm so characteristic of Noirmoutier.
Fair value for money for cuisine that beautifully showcases the local seafood. You'll leave wanting to return on your next trip to the island!

A wonderful culinary experience that we couldn't have last year as the restaurant was full. There was a group of Americans at the bar who were rather boisterously sharing their enjoyment of being there, which explains the comment about the noise level. But we had a great time.

Alexandre Couillon's bistro is right next to his 3-star restaurant. Therefore, in terms of the quality and preparation of the fish, it's on par with the Michelin-starred establishment. However, the service and the minimalist, cramped atmosphere don't encourage lingering.

Despite the very friendly service, I didn't appreciate the cramped and poorly laid-out space. I'll admit that I made some poor choices that day (the octopus was rather rubbery, the sea bass was unevenly cooked, the potatoes arrived after our courses, and the rhubarb didn't taste like rhubarb). I confess I was very disappointed. My guest, on the other hand, much preferred his sea bass with garlic cream.
