An exceptional experience!!!
Besides the setting and the food, which are obviously incredible—from the perfectly cooked veal to the soufflé, a truly unique dessert experience—the welcome is warm and very pleasant. A big thank you to the waitress who took such good care of us, and also to the lady who gave excellent advice for cheese lovers, and to the owner who is so attentive to her customers. A must-visit when you're on the island of Noirmoutier.

We came as a couple in the evening and ordered the lobster menu, "L'Escale de l'Ethier." The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the dishes were tasty and well-presented. However, we would have appreciated more creativity in the flavor combinations. The cuisine remains very traditional, the flavors rather bland, which can leave a slight feeling of déjà vu. And the small half-lobster didn't impress us. Disappointed, but still a lovely place for its setting, welcome, and service.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The meal (set menu €55) was refined and delicious! The waitress was very pleasant and the owners were lovely!

The meal was almost perfect.
For the €55 set menu, I ordered "organic snails in parsley sauce" as a starter… What a surprise to find only one snail on my plate, whereas the menu clearly states it's spelled with an "s," implying several gastropods! 🐌 So, a very, very small starter, even for fine dining. Please correct the spelling on your menu.
