La Table d'Emilie sur Marseillan

What can I say, simply excellent from every point of view, charming setting, impeccable service with a smile, perfect cuisine! Thank you to the whole team for this great experience to be repeated of course.

accueilli par le sourire de la gardienne de ce temple,nous avons découvert un cadre magnifique avec des plafonds voûtés avec de belles pierres apparentes; Les tables sont très espacées ; merci au chef cuisinier pour ce repas succulent (entrée plat dessert à 65€) et fait entièrement maison,alliant différentes saveurs et couleurs ; En attendant l’entrée,pas  mal de petites choses à goûter de surcroît !!! Ne pas hésiter non plus avec le chariot à fromage; tout est parfait, même l’apprenti qui apprenait son métier ; nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

We had dinner there on August 22 for my birthday. Not only is it excellent but the dishes are divinely presented. To complete it all, the service is impeccable. A special thank you to Mateo for his professionalism and kindness as well as to Emi.

This restaurant is a “must visit” in Marseillan! I don’t think I’ve had as exquisite a meal anywhere else in years. If you can, dine in the interior outdoor courtyard. It’s very sleek and minimalist. There are two set menus, one 3 course or a 6 course tasting menu. I had the 3 course menu. The tastes were wonderful. This is what it is for food to be simply delicious. The staff are welcoming and extremely efficient. Compared to other Marseillan restaurants I imagine the prices at La Table D’Emilie are on the higher side, but for a meal of this quality, at a Michelin restaurant, the price would easily be 2-3x higher in any other city. I thought the dinner, including a bottle of Rose, was excellent value @ €100. Reservations recommended and can be booked directly on their website.

Centrally located in the very pretty town of Marseillan, in a historic house, we really liked the entrance area. The rooms were beautifully designed and furnished with a great sense of the history of the building. We were a little surprised that significantly less attention was paid to the kitchen area and the floor in the entrance area shows some signs of wear. The very functional wine refrigerators, unfortunately in the visible area, are not a visual highlight either. However, it would be completely impossible to draw conclusions about the kitchen from this incorrect. The best products from the region are skilfully and imaginatively processed into tasty dishes, for which we award one star, in contrast to the relevant gourmet guide. However, the service cannot keep up with the kitchen's performance in terms of absolute attention. We had to wait a relatively long time for our wine order and the glasses were not refilled promptly, which led to some tables taking initiative. In the overall assessment, however, we put these impressions in the background and would be happy to come back at any time given the performance of the kitchen team. However, we recommend reserving seats in the main room that are as far away as possible from the automatically opening kitchen door. For warmer days there would be a limited number of seats in the also very beautiful courtyard. More on turtlesurf eu.

A gem in Marseillan, excellent quality of the dishes, super fresh and original in composition. Host and employees are knowledgeable and committed to their work. Wines from local winemakers, good quality and reasonable in price. Now the Michelin star.
