Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The bread tasted a bit stale and the puff pastry of the pâté was rubbery. It is a shame, because with a little more attention to quality, details, and taste, this establishment could offer a much better experience.

A pleasant little restaurant, comfortable armchair, nice seating, very good meal, friendly waitress. I felt very comfortable there. We ate inside because it was windy and cool.

Pleasant staff and fast service. We chose à la carte. Pâté en croute and the tuna for the main course. The pâté was delicious, but the tuna was a lot, especially in combination with the accompanying lentils. The dessert with Camembert was very tasty again. And all in all, not too expensive.

We ordered set menus for €27.50: starter, main course, and dessert. Here are some photos of the menus. Fish and chips for the children (€12). Drinks were a bit pricey, though.

We originally came for a cycling race in the area. We were charmed by the port and its character. Following a recommendation from our host at Les 2 Marcels, we went there. My friends and I enjoyed delicious dishes that were as pleasing to the eye as they were to the palate. I highly recommend it.

21/05/2026: I've eaten at your establishment three times since the reopening. It's better to eat upstairs than on the raised terrace, because on the raised terrace the food arrives cold, which isn't pleasant. Upstairs, however, it's perfect. To put it another way, the food could be cooked a little more thoroughly.
20/05/2026: Nice restaurant, unfortunately the food tastes of almost nothing. It's a shame it's also a bit pricey.

29/04/2026: Le Vauban restaurant is a wonderful discovery in Normandy. It offers simple yet delicious home-style cooking, with well-prepared and flavorful dishes. It's the perfect place to share a lovely time with family, especially since the restaurant is very child-friendly. The setting is also a real plus: located on the harbor, the place is charming and pleasant, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
26/01/2026: Very small but wonderful restaurant. The escargot was fantastic as was the duck and chocolate fondant. Parking is a little sparse but other than that it serves as a perfect dinner spot.
