La table du grizzly sur Fontcouverte-La-Toussuire

The quality of the dishes is there, but the whole table (7 people) felt short-changed in terms of quantity. The fondue for 3 people seemed to offer the same quantity as the table next to it which was for two people, and the pierrade for two people... without having a scale on hand obviously, we doubt the 2x240gr. In short, good, but expensive for the quantities. (and it’s a shame about not taking restaurant tickets!) Edit: following the response from the owners: it is not useful to use this smug tone (which you did not have during the service!), I am not hiding behind my anonymity, you are welcome to discuss it, you have my name, it is a general feeling of the group, and the comment is intended to be constructive. Finally, in terms of quantity, it is a result of comparison with the table next door, but I understand that this could frustrate you, we should have informed you of this when paying, it is our fault (we left before dessert precisely because I'm not full). Glad to discuss it!

For a restaurant at the bottom of the slope, the prices remain reasonable, home cooking, and hearty dishes. The fondue is very good! Pleasantly surprised, I recommend

The annual meeting for almost ten years...and rather disappointed this time...Friday evening, full houses, only 3 people serving. The wait was very long, too long, almost 1h30 after our arrival...Fortunately the dishes are plentiful and tasty, the setting remains nice...The prices are high (more than 45 euros for a fondue for 2 without cold cuts. ..)...and the bill at the end had an error of 26 euros too much...we had to come back to get a refund...in short, not great...Not sure that we will remember the experience next year...

The boss should take management courses, which would prevent him from talking about his employees like crap... ok for rigor, ok for listening... but to blame his waitress in front of an entire table and then hear that the gentleman is crazy that this one is friendly, smiling, outgoing etc… it’s the world turned upside down!!!! Sir, welcome and service in a restaurant are essential!!! And personally, I ate the tartiflette.. blah blah.. and to finish, we must not believe that the little liqueur offered at our departure makes us forget everything. Word to the wise….
