It was a wonderful surprise when a renowned, retired chef, very humble, took the time to compliment you on your performance – a touching gesture for the young girl who received her birthday candle. If you are ever in Bergerac, don't hesitate to stop by, as the chef's retirement is fast approaching.

The food was excellent, but 1 hour and 45 minutes to eat is too long. I had asked for a candle for our 56th wedding anniversary, 💒 no luck. It was quite expensive though.

Truly an exceptional meal. We even bumped into the chef on the street before coming to eat, and he seemed smiling and pleased to see us—a very good sign. And above all, we opted for the tasting menu, which was on par with a Michelin-starred restaurant—and a truly creative one at that, with a fantastic identity. We'll particularly remember the lamb paired with mint and smoked yogurt, the celery with such a rich vegetable jus that you'd swear it was meat, and the revisited Fontainebleau, which is well worth the trip. Plus, a superb wine list... in short, what more could you ask for? Go for it!

Absolutely delicious. From starter to main course to dessert, everything was superbly prepared and refined, with wonderful flavor combinations. They sourced ingredients from local producers.
Special mention for the tempura sweetbreads – they were divine!
Located next to the city's covered market in the mostly pedestrianized old town, it's perfect for a stroll before or after your meal. The staff is friendly and the chef is passionate and easy to talk to.
