I liked the welcome, the food, and the friendly atmosphere. It might be best to book ahead; I think it's closed on Mondays.

What can I say? We've come for the umpteenth time and we're delighted once again. No waiting, attentive service, and it's delicious. We go there and we'll definitely be back.

We received a very warm welcome, even though we were just passing through without a reservation. Lunch was quick and well done. We highly recommend it as we ate very well.

Outstanding! What a fantastic find. The fish was perfectly crispy and golden, and the tartar sauce was absolutely amazing—so creamy and full of flavour. We especially loved the real potato so much better than the usual frozen fries. And to top it all off, the people were so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere, and genuinely warm service. Definitely a little gem worth visiting—we’ll happily come back! 🐟🍟❤️

We arrived as a group of nine on Sunday at 7:45 pm without a reservation after a swim in the lake. They offered us a 9:15 pm slot: no problem. The restaurant, which was packed, respected our reservation time. Our orders arrived incredibly quickly. The bartenders, cooks, and five servers were very efficient and friendly! The portions were generous and delicious. The Latin atmosphere was exactly to my liking!

L'Imparfait

27/09/2026: A superb seven-course experience… Everything was perfect… the servers were great… open kitchen… fantastic… Very kind people who love their work… I highly recommend it… thank you to Hervé, Gaby, Catherine and their other colleagues.
27/09/2026: First day and a lunchtime treat in Bergerac. We didn't know what to expect but our apartment owner recommended here and after a 4am start to our journey from the UK, we needed the Menu du Midi. The amuse bouche gazpacho and the delicious warm popcorn bread with butter salted with seaweed were great. Starter of goats cheese salad and oeuf parfait very tasty and the main dishes of roasted salmon and pork were beautifully presented and filling. The orange cake with sorbet and grand marnier with an expresso, the perfect finale. But for us the highlight was the staff, both waitresses a real delight, so welcoming and patient with my attempts to converse in French but also discreet and professional. It was a great way to start our holiday as we found the people in Bergerac to be so friendly and open. Well done, Chapeau!
