We came for a hen party and were more than delighted. The portions were generous, the food delicious, and cooked to perfection. There was a wide variety of choices, and they were flexible (I ordered fries instead of new potatoes). The setting was perfect, and we were seated in a quiet area so we could fully enjoy the experience. There are restrooms on site. The space was sheltered, but not entirely protected from the wind. A little tip: book in advance! Thank you to the servers for their patience and professionalism.

At first glance, when you go to eat at a lakeside restaurant, you don't expect much from the food. Well, think again. The food is remarkably good! We were with friends who live near Bergerac and know what they're talking about when it comes to duck breast. Verdict: "I've rarely eaten one so well prepared." As for the other diners, whether it was the Milanese veal cutlets (for which I suggest offering pasta as an accompaniment), whose breading was simply divine, the perfect foie gras, or the desserts worthy of a gourmet restaurant, what can I say but "bravo!" We'll be back as soon as possible. A truly wonderful discovery!

Everyone is friendly, the service is quick, and the menu hasn't changed. But after all, why change what isn't broken? The atmosphere is great, the view is breathtaking—in short, I'm always delighted to go to the guinguette. I always have a wonderful time, and I thank the whole team.

Lovely little outdoor restaurant, generous and delicious dishes. Reasonable prices. Friendly service. Reservations are recommended, and it needs to be sunny and pleasant.

A must-visit in Bergerac! Located on the shores of Lake Pombonne, it has a lively, casual atmosphere where you can have a great time and enjoy excellent lunch or dinner at a very reasonable price. Whenever I'm in the area, I stop by if I can. Excellent place!

28/06/2026: One of the best restaurants we've ever been to! This small, gourmet restaurant is ideal for a romantic dinner for two. The dishes are flavorful, refined, and offer excellent taste. We were delighted from start to finish, with generous portions that more than satisfied us. We also appreciated the selection of several types of bread offered by the server, as well as the numerous amuse-bouches served throughout the meal—a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more enjoyable. The dishes are beautifully prepared, and the quality of the ingredients is impeccable. The staff is very pleasant, attentive, and takes excellent care of the guests. We will definitely be back regularly.
21/06/2026: An excellent higher end restaurant - service was very professional (and dealt with our poor French) and the food superb. We ate indoors which was perfect on a very hot evening. I hope this makes sense but it’s a restaurant which expects its diners to have an entree and a main, allowing the kitchen to cope with demand or you will have to wait a bit.
