An incredible evening at La Table Lionel Giraud – from the initial greeting to the final farewell in the kitchen: everything was world-class. Warm, charming, and incredibly attentive, without ever seeming pretentious.
The kitchen and service teams are perfectly coordinated and truly anticipate your every need. The "Grande Balade en Occitanie" was a journey brimming with ideas, precision, and enjoyment: creative, surprising dishes, supported by extremely seasonal and regional products, which were perceptible in every nuance.
To top it off, the wine pairings were perfectly matched – the sommelier nailed every combination and explained them with great sensitivity and passion, without any unnecessary showmanship.
A moment that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of this establishment: As we waited for our ride after dinner, it began to pour with rain. We were standing just outside the entrance to the wine cellar – and the attentive server even brought us an umbrella so we wouldn't get wet. This blend of genuine warmth and utmost attention is rare.

An incredible experience, surpassing anything we've done before. A truly timeless moment. It's rare to have a "perfect" experience. We discovered exceptional dishes and wines: the smoked fish, the yuzu—everything was truly amazing. The wine pairings were absolutely worthwhile to complement the meal. The sommelier introduced us to many lesser-known grape varieties, and even an orange wine. We were taken into the kitchen to meet the chef. It was truly an unforgettable and moving experience.

We returned for the fifth time, and the second time since Lionel Giraud was awarded his second Michelin star, to enjoy the "Little Stroll Through Occitanie" lunch menu. We enjoyed the initial appetizers: pitted Lucques olives, sweet vernal grass, and oyster mushroom tartlet. The raw anchovy was more challenging to appreciate, and the dried tuna still didn't win me over. The beetroot rose appetizer seemed too simple. The very strong flavor of the Pyrenees trout in the main course overpowered the Alba white truffle (an extra €50). Nevertheless, the signature dish (smoked hake with pine needles) remains very impressive, especially when paired with the "drunken radish" (likely sake). The lacquered lamb chop was too tough and lacked a side dish. We thoroughly enjoyed the desserts (yuzu lemon, guava, etc.). The service was friendly, relaxed, and unpretentious. The Clos de la Hutte Savennières wine from Thibault Boudignon was a perfect accompaniment to the meal, as was the Côtes du Rhône Damon de Charvin, judiciously recommended by the sommelier.
Overall, a decent meal, though some pairings were less than ideal despite the chef's good intentions and professed passion.
