We eat very well there! The terrace is very pleasant. Special mention for the Basque cake and its cherry jam :)

Starter - main course - dessert formula for €22. Very simple but good Lusienne salad. Lomo with a very chewy braised ham taste, very good home fries and a small spoonful of piperade. For dessert, the Basque cake was industrial and of very poor quality. We were crowded together in the room.

Repas simple à un prix à peu près correct. Mais entrée de piquillos (2minis) 4 sardines avec très peu d’accompagnement , qui pourtant ne coûte pas très cher. Donc au final sensation mitigée. Service un peu long. Personnel sympathique.

Frankly, I don't understand the negative comments. Very pleasant serous people with a smile, order drinks quickly despite the crowd, tasty and copious dishes, top wines....the whole terrace in pleasant weather....for a very reasonable price 😉 How not to recommend ???? You stop at St Jean de Luz, come and have lunch there to get your own idea 😉

We ate very well during our weekend in St Jean de Luz. We took the menu for 22 euros and we were not disappointed by the value for money. We will come back

Excellent value for money. The dishes are good with an effort in presentation, the service is fast. A good surprise, this restaurant is well located a few steps from the beach.

Assiettes bien fournies. Bonne charcuterie en entrée. Bon plat de moules. Par le lomo moyen, un peu sec et pas trop de gout. Serveuse très aimable, serveur pas trop.

30/08/2024: We came 2 years ago so we came back this year. We were disappointed We found the prices expensive... 24€ for the squid dish... the children's menu 12€ with a chocolate fondant for dessert which when it arrives is half fondant since the initial cake was shared... that's really a win-win... Fast service.
