Perfect seaside restaurant! 🌊 The food is excellent, everything is delicious and beautifully presented. The waiter is truly wonderful, very kind. The atmosphere is fantastic; you feel so comfortable that you want to stay. A truly wonderful experience, I highly recommend it!

Hiking from Bidart to St Jean-de-Luz, I was so happy to find this bar open on February 26th, under summer-like weather! A very warm welcome, a fantastic location with a breathtaking sea view, and excellent food (special mention for the red berry panna cotta). I promised to leave a (good) review... and here it is!

We came to eat at "Bistro du Mata."
After a short wait, as mentioned at the entrance, we were kindly seated at a table with a breathtaking view.
Despite the slight wait (understandable and justified given how busy it was), we were able to enjoy the kindness and generosity of the servers.
The dishes were delicious, unpretentious, and simply excellent.
Thank you to the entire team on Sunday for allowing us to spend a pleasant time with our family.
I highly recommend the bistro for its atmosphere, drinks, and food.
