A really nice spot right on the oceanfront. In the height of summer, it must be packed! You can eat at a counter overlooking the sea. It's simply fantastic! The welcome is very warm and the staff are super friendly. The food is simple and delicious; they even have hamburgers for those who love them! Tapas too... The Eguzki beer is amazing... No wonder, it's a Basque beer... It's accessible for people with reduced mobility. And on top of that, there's music and a great atmosphere! The prices are very reasonable. So, I definitely recommend "Le Bistro du Mata" if you're looking for a nice place to have lunch while taking the time to unwind in an idyllic setting.

Fantastic location, free parking just steps away, incredible sea view. But what really impressed us was the service and the kindness of all the staff towards both humans and our four-legged companions. What a pleasure! Well done to the whole team, and don't change a thing. The food is just as good, by the way. Highly recommended!

Beautiful spot under the tamarisk trees. We've been coming here for 20 years, but last night the baby squid was very sparsely filled and way overcooked. The bread was also dry... Very disappointed.

19/03/2026: La Pergola is the casino where my wife and I first played, brought by our friends Norbert and Elisabeth, who lived on Rue de la République at the time. For a first try, it was a resounding success. Furious at having lost, I threw my last few coins into a machine. I won enough to buy my wife a superb pair of handmade red espadrilles, which she had been wanting, and I treated everyone to the restaurant "La Banquise," if I'm not mistaken, where the four of us shared a delicious and generous seafood platter. Amazing! René
