Authentic French (Flemish) traditional cuisine in an unforgettable atmosphere!!!

My parents introduced me to this traditional pub, which already has a great reputation on Google, and I completely understand why! The whole team gave us a wonderful welcome, with smiling, warm, and very friendly waitresses. The pub transports you to another era, with all the objects hanging everywhere that give the place so much vintage charm. The pork was excellent, incredibly tender and melt-in-your-mouth, and cooked over a wood fire to perfection. With over 900 Google reviews, the establishment's reputation is clearly well-established, but I'm still giving it 5 stars! We will definitely be back for the food, the service, and the ambiance. Everything is there for a wonderful time. Well done to the whole team, it's a complete success!

A wonderful family discovery. The perfect place for the occasion. The entire team is helpful and cheerful, making this a truly delightful experience. A fireplace adds a wonderful touch to the unpretentious yet perfectly simple cuisine, bursting with flavor and fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it.

As regulars, we make a pilgrimage here every year! Never disappointed, delicious 100% homemade dishes, grilled with excellent local meats. The games room is a nice touch to end the day. I'd love to see chicken with Maroilles cheese on the menu ;)

A very good experience! The welcome and service were very friendly. We had a platter, and the products were excellent, with a special mention for the onion confit, which was truly outstanding! The dishes were very good quality and varied, cooked over the fireplace, which was very pleasant to watch, and the desserts were excellent. And what I also particularly appreciated was the background music, the kind of music our grandparents used to play, just like at my grandmother's house. A very pleasant time, thank you!

We enjoyed it so much that we ate and drank there twice in a row. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly.

Despite the language barrier, we received a very warm welcome. The food was delicious, and the grill master was a sight to behold. We had a great time, were very well looked after, and highly recommend this restaurant, especially for families with children.

A wonderful welcome from the owner and her two waitresses...the bistro transports you to another era with its objects hanging everywhere...pots, tools, vintage radios, butcher's and delicatessen labels...of all kinds and from different periods...thank you for this lovely moment shared; your rating and all the kind reviews are well deserved. The four of us ordered the Flemish carbonnade, and it truly was the best I've ever had, an opinion shared by everyone at the table...flavorful...very good quality meat, not fatty, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and a generous portion...we will gladly return for the food, the welcome, and the ambiance; everything is perfect...bravo...a complete success...see you soon...
