We enjoyed it so much that we ate and drank there twice in a row. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The staff was very friendly.

Despite the language barrier, we received a very warm welcome. The food was delicious, and the grill master was a sight to behold. We had a great time, were very well looked after, and highly recommend this restaurant, especially for families with children.

A wonderful welcome from the owner and her two waitresses...the bistro transports you to another era with its objects hanging everywhere...pots, tools, vintage radios, butcher's and delicatessen labels...of all kinds and from different periods...thank you for this lovely moment shared; your rating and all the kind reviews are well deserved. The four of us ordered the Flemish carbonnade, and it truly was the best I've ever had, an opinion shared by everyone at the table...flavorful...very good quality meat, not fatty, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and a generous portion...we will gladly return for the food, the welcome, and the ambiance; everything is perfect...bravo...a complete success...see you soon...

An excellent establishment renowned for its Flemish specialties. No frills here; the focus is on customer satisfaction in a friendly, family atmosphere. In addition to cuisine that deserves to be savored, they offer excellent local aperitifs, and a special mention goes to the warm welcome from the waitresses and the owner. Highly recommended if you're visiting Bergues and the surrounding area, like us tourists from southern Burgundy.
