Absolutely delicious meal this evening. Ordered the cassoulet maison - it was phenomenal. Sat with our dogs outside and had a really lovely evening :-)

The staff are friendly and helpful, Food is good but I was surprised. That the bread quality wasn’t up to the standards. We are in France and bread is the most important thing, therefore to use industriel bread is not a good idea.

We went for dinner yesterday with the family. It was a bit chilly, and we had our dog with us. We asked if we could eat inside (she's 3kg), and they were happy to oblige. The staff were lovely and made sure everything was alright. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable and fair for the quality and quantity. We'll be back! :) Thank you all so much.

A simple restaurant with a fairly short menu. Fine for a quick and easy meal, but the dishes offered lack a bit of flair. Nevertheless, the salads and pasta dishes are very good.

13/10/2025: October 2025 - We tried to return, but were informed that the owner had passed away and the restaurant was permanently closed. How sad... This restaurant was a gem! • • • • • Glad to see this restaurant is still open. Our visit in April 2019 (see photo) left us with very pleasant memories of the place. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful! A place to retreat to when the weather is cold! We will definitely return in September 2025, during our next planned visit to Carcassonne!

l'Ostal des Troubadours

03/05/2026: We had a great time, with wood-fired ribeye steak and a singer-guitarist. Thank you, we had an excellent time in a medieval-style restaurant. We'll be back.
16/04/2026: A typical restaurant where we ate grilled chicken. The decor is quaint and the price/quality ratio is good. It may be a little difficult to find from the main road, which is easy to walk to. We highly recommend it.
