A wonderful time. The waitress was lovely and very attentive to our comfort. The cassoulet? Absolutely divine. The rosé? Delicious and refreshing. The sirloin steak and the spaghetti bolognese? Excellent! I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time at La Taverne Moderne. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere (and playlist 😉) was great. If you're ever in Carcassonne, don't hesitate to stop by!

A very good restaurant in Carcassonne, right at the foot of the citadel. The service was excellent, with smiles, kindness, and professionalism. As for the food, it was a real treat for the taste buds; we had cassoulet and salmon linguine—a true delight. I highly recommend this restaurant; the prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the flavors are delicious.

27/08/2026: Friendly welcome, very good fast service
27/08/2026: A lovely place in a beautiful, charming street decorated with colorful garlands. The blonde beer was excellent, and the food was very good too. The only downside is that the portions are not particularly generous and the prices are a little high, although in line with other nearby places. That said, we had a very pleasant evening right at the foot of the medieval city.
