The most important thing about this restaurant: the staff is incredibly attentive. We were well served, warmly welcomed, and they even apologized for the delay in service, even though we didn't have to wait long. It was very pleasant. As for the food, the flavor combinations are well thought out; I particularly enjoyed the scallop gazpacho. The hot stone platters we saw being served looked amazing; I even regretted not ordering one. However, I found the prices a bit high.
I must say, the building's architecture is simply incredible in the heart of Challans; it's quite striking. It looks very chic (even more so with matching chair colors 😉).

A real gem! We went for a romantic weekend getaway and were blown away. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, generous portions, delicious food, and truly excellent value for money. We felt right at home. I recommend it 100%, we'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Having come with my grandparents, our experience began with a slight misunderstanding with the waitress. We wanted a sharing platter for three people, but we only received two pieces of salmon and one piece of foie gras, which was far too little.
After discussing it at length, the owner came to explain that it was a platter for two or three people, whereas it had initially been presented to us as ideal for six. We therefore had to order a second one to make up for the shortfall. No compensation was offered.
Despite this somewhat rocky start, the wine service and the consistent change of cutlery were much appreciated. The place is particularly cozy and comfortable. Finally, the portions for the meat and desserts were perfect.

Dinner for two, we ordered two medieval-style beef stews, a delightful discovery! The service was very quick and pleasant. We would have preferred vegetables as a side dish rather than salad, but they weren't listed on the menu. As a result, we found it a bit heavy. Marie, everything else was delicious!
We finished with profiteroles with macarons. The macarons were a little hard and, more importantly, sticky, but overall, the dessert was still good.
In conclusion, I had a lovely time. I enjoyed the service and the atmosphere; the dining room is magnificent! Especially with the fireplace, it's so cozy and warm.
