La Terrasse Rouge sur Saint-Emilion

We were in the "Terrasse Rouge" for the second time, had an excellent meal and drank very good wines. The first time we sat on the terrace in the front row, this time, it was raining, in the restaurant, which was very comfortable. The calm atmosphere makes it easy to enjoy the wonderful food without stress. The menu with its three courses, each offering two dishes, is highly recommended. We are already looking forward to next year.

Nice chilled back place, good food and great service

Nice setting, too bad the weather wasn't good. Everything was very good, except the cooking of the red tuna: way overcooked! Besides when ordering I was not asked for cooking... Only false note, too bad... The young woman who took care of us was very professional and attentive. THANKS ! We will come back! Kind regards Patrick

Amazing views, kind and attentive staff, food is ok but just that.

Exceptional place when the weather allows you to be outdoors. Simple menu, cuisine that lacks creativity to match the place. I would happily go back to enjoy the terrace.

We spent a very nice evening in this restaurant. The setting is magnificent, the welcome and the service were impeccable, the harmony of the menu with seasonal cuisine accompanied by good wine delighted us. An experience to be repeated without hesitation. Thanks to the whole team!

An exquisite meal! Quality service! However, a disappointment with the price of the bottles in the restaurant... from my memories of our first visit in 2017, the estate wine served in the restaurant was almost the same price as in the shop. However, now the bottle offered in the restaurant is almost twice as expensive as in the store (which is on the lower floor…)

What a shame... So disappointed this time. The magic is gone from this once beautiful place. We had such good memories of our last visit in 2022... The waiters don't even look at the customers, most of the groups of foreign tourists who drink Bordeaux and Coke at the same time and don't even care if the waiter is nice or professional. The bottle of Relais La Dominique costs €60 when its price at the shop just below the restaurant is €21. If at least it was served with professionalism and the correction that a good wine deserves... We had reservations and yet we waited 15 minutes for our table. Twenty minutes left to take our order. When you get there, there is no one at reception and when they see you they don't even say hello, when you leave it's the same thing. Impersonal, all the charm is gone. If tourists love it... good for them!

Excellent restaurant que je conseille. Vue sur les vignes. La Terrasse faites de Pierres Poncées Rouge qui rappelle le Raisin rouge est superbe. L accueil est au top. Gentillesse humour... Service rapide et efficace. Et quand le temps s y prête ça n est que du bonheur, et pour nos papilles et pour nos yeux. Très calme
