La tortue is exceptional. We chose it because it offered the vegetarian options one of us wanted, but were both delighted by the ambience, the service and the quality of the food. This is a family run restaurant of the kind one hopes to find in France but sometimes doesn't Really, very charming and memorable. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at La Tortue restaurant in Honfleur. When we made the reservation by phone, we mentioned that we were gluten-free. Once there, the staff seemed very knowledgeable about the necessary precautions and clearly explained which dishes could be prepared gluten-free. A large part of the menu is available as is or can be adapted.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at a reasonable price (around €40 for three courses). The restaurant is located slightly outside the town center, which is actually an advantage: the atmosphere is calm, warm, and welcoming, away from the tourist crowds.
