Everything was very good. The staff was welcoming. Just a small improvement to the sauce on the eggs meurette.
So I recommend this place.

We came for lunch, it was wonderful. I've never seen a waitress (Virginie) so pleasant, attentive, and caring. As for the food, it could be improved; putting the whole egg in a calzone wasn't very appetizing.

A must-stop when visiting Auxerre! La Tour d'Orbandelle boasts an ideal location on Place des Cordeliers and a truly welcoming atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by their Pizza Calzone: it's simply excellent, generous, and perfectly cooked, which isn't always easy to find!
The welcome is friendly and the service is efficient, which is much appreciated in such a popular brasserie. Whether for a quick lunch or a more relaxed dinner, the colorful ambiance and the history of the place add real charm to the experience. You can tell the ingredients are high quality, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this place to pizza lovers and those who want to have a great time in the historic center!
