This is the best Italian restaurant in Chalon. Pizzas are between €12 and €14, which is very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients. As for other dishes, there's a wide selection available, always of excellent quality, of course. Go without hesitation.

We had lunch at this restaurant during the week. The service was impeccable. The pizzas were excellent. Special mention goes to the crust, which was both crispy and soft. Furthermore, the portions were generous. We will gladly return.

A warm welcome and a very good pizza. The pizza is well presented, the dough is light and the ingredients are good. The only downside is the olives don't really have any flavor.

05/06/2026: June 1st, 2026: This is the only place in Chalon where the daily special is consistently delicious: Thank you to the talented chef! It's a welcoming place that keeps you coming back: a great spot for a peaceful and particularly pleasant lunch. In fact, after trying many restaurants in Chalon, my friend Jacqueline and I finally settled on Paolo. We go twice a week and for several months now, we've been enjoying the quality and variety of the menu, as well as the speed and professionalism of the service: the daily special/dessert menu is excellent value for money at €14.90. The atmosphere is serene, and the service is friendly and welcoming. Simply the best! Kudos to the truly generous owners, who go the extra mile to please their customers. Thank you, Pascal and Sylvain, and keep up the good work in 2022 ;-).

07/06/2026: We were a little put off by the bad reviews, but what a great find! The service was fantastic, efficient, and fast, the food was excellent, as were the desserts and drinks, and the servers were really friendly. The setting was magnificent. We'll definitely be back!
24/05/2026: We were expecting lasagna. When we arrived, there was no more Bolognese sauce, lasagna, Neapolitan pizza, crumble, or other desserts; the bottle of wine we ordered was also sold out. My pizza finally arrived an hour later. Two hours for pizza and dessert.
