Delicious cuisine! A very warm and cozy welcome. I highly recommend even if you have to spend a few minutes aperitif and digestive to get there!

A treat! Very warm welcome in an estaminet setting. Divine Flemish stew and equally excellent American fillet. Served generously and quickly. Room a bit small and noisy when there are people, but you can hardly push the walls :-) We have been here several times already and it is our favorite restaurant. You can go there with your eyes closed. Remember to book!

La Vieille Assiette is exactly everything an estaminet should be. The dishes are really excellent (we tasted the welsh, the chti burger, the carbonnade, the Marengo veal, the pork cheek) and were unanimously appreciated by the table. The welcome and service are friendly and pleasant, and the decor is typical without being "too much". We feel really good: at home if we come from the region, and welcomed if we discover it. We leave in a good mood and with a full stomach. Thank you, we will come back, for sure! Edit: We've come back plenty of times and we'll come back again.

Au Passe Porc

07/09/2024: Une bonne assiette dans un cadre sympa avec un service détendu, mais quel dommage que la carte des vins soit aussi peu variée (surtout Bordeaux et Bourgogne) et tellement trop chère !! Pas étonnant que les autres tables prennent de la bière, et c'est dommage avec des plats de cochon : le vin du mois démarre à 40€, et vous ne trouverez pas grand chose moins cher (35€ mini), la plupart des vins au-delà de 50€, voir 100€, 300€... c'est totalement incohérent avec l'endroit, la carte, le service...et le patron s'en "cogne" totalement quand on le lui fait remarquer. C'est dommage, cela gâche le plaisir de l'assiette et du moment. Nous ne le conseillons donc pas.
