Excellent food! We had lunch on the terrace one day and received a super friendly welcome. The food was delicious. Everything was homemade, right down to the bread baked in a wood-fired oven. A very pleasant experience, highly recommended.

I invited a client to this restaurant tonight. Everything was perfect.
The food was sumptuous and the service was top-notch. We each ordered a €29 set menu, and it's been a long time since I've eaten so well for that price. I'll definitely be back and I'll recommend it!
The icing on the cake: very fast service (it was a weekday and off-season).

A chance discovery of this typical St. Jean de Luz restaurant.
The food is homemade (even the bread!) and delicious.
They were out of sardines, but they offered us a salmon steak instead, which was well worth the trip.
The service is both warm and discreet.
We were delighted with our €19.90 bistro menu, which offered a wide selection.
I particularly recommend the pork with grilled vegetables, which was melt-in-your-mouth tender and very flavorful.
Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience.

Proper authentic French restaurant. There are two group restaurants, one is a bistro and the other is a restaurant. I came to the restaurant part and had a daily meal. The main was fish soup, which was a bit different from what I expected but the quality was good. The staffs were kind and professional. They offered a part explaining other restaurant/location recommendations in the neighbouring areas — how nice! Would like to come back to the bistro next time.

We stumbled upon this place completely by chance and found a gem! The setting is lovely, the staff welcoming, and the food delicious: paella for my wife and a chorizo burger for me, all at a very reasonable price considering the quality of the meal. Go for it!

Chosen thanks to Google for our Valentine's Day 2026, the rave reviews for this establishment are entirely deserved. The old inn offers tasty yet refined cuisine without being pretentious or ostentatious. The staff is welcoming and offers helpful advice. In short, a must-try in Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
And if you'd like a change of pace, cross the street and you'll find a bistro run by the same owner, with pizzas that looked delicious.
