I came for lunch without a reservation for two, and we were very warmly welcomed. Our waitress was exceptionally kind and professional. We're discovering Saint-Jean-de-Luz and we weren't disappointed. We ordered two glasses of white wine and two Caesar salads, which were simply divine—a real treat! I highly recommend it; ideal for a meal or just a drink.

The restaurant is very well located on a lively square (we went on a Wednesday evening during the Taíno de Fuego festival).
I had the ribeye steak; the meat was excellent and the homemade fries were delicious. The portions were generous, the desserts a bit pricey, but you're also paying for the ambiance.
The waiter was extremely busy that evening, but always pleasant and efficient.

Unfortunately, this place was far too expensive for what it offered, and the service was disappointing.
The pastries were twice or even three times the price of what you would normally expect (a single slice of flan cake cost over €11).
We ordered two noisettes, an espresso, a hot chocolate and three pastries and payed more than 40€.
There was only one toilet, which resulted in a long queue, at one point, five women were waiting.
Our food arrived without any cutlery and the spoons provided were not properly polished and had visible limescale marks.
My coffee also arrived spilled over the saucer.
Overall, the experience did not justify the prices.
I would NOT come back.
