For us, the best restaurant in Evreux!!! We've just been there two Saturdays in a row, and while the menu wasn't exactly the same each time—a pleasant surprise!—each time the dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, served with care, professionalism, and poise by the waiters. The dishes arrived at just the right pace; in short, we had a wonderful evening every time!!! We were even able to take our bottle home with us, carefully placed in a bag so we could leave with peace of mind and enjoy it at our leisure. Thank you to all the staff, because cooking at home requires a lot of work and precision to achieve a good dish on every plate!!!!

A wonderful discovery at La Vieille Gabelle restaurant. We had a fantastic meal; the dishes were excellent and the atmosphere very pleasant. Thank you to Johnny for his warm welcome and top-notch service—he was friendly and professional. We highly recommend this place!

An excellent establishment offering high-quality products. The service, both personalized and remarkably flexible, perfectly met our expectations. There were 13 of us, and all my guests, who came from Germany and elsewhere, were particularly impressed. A truly wonderful experience, which we highly recommend.

15/05/2026: We came with friends and had a wonderful time at La Cheminée. We shared several dishes because everything looked so tempting: the four-meat platter with its delicious little sautéed potatoes, as well as the veal escalopes with cider and mushroom cream sauce, also served with potatoes. Everything was absolutely delicious! You can feel the family atmosphere and authenticity of the restaurant, with the cooking over the fireplace making all the difference. The welcome was lovely from beginning to end. Thank you again for this wonderful experience; we will gladly return very soon!
