La Vieille Porte sur Sierck-Les-Bains

We'd been wanting to come here for a while, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the menus – it was flawless! Everything was perfect, the dishes were of exceptional quality, prepared with a true love of cooking. The service was impeccable, the staff truly attentive to their guests. The cheese platter was outstanding and definitely not to be missed for cheese lovers! We will be back, that's for sure!

A refined moment in the heart of Sierck-les-Bains A truly wonderful discovery! La Vieille Porte is an address I highly recommend if you're in the area. We received a warm welcome. The staff is attentive, professional, and responsive to their customers. We began with a delicate amuse-bouche that set the tone for the rest of the meal. The dishes were refined and delicious. The restaurant boasts a prime location, ideal for a gourmet break in this charming medieval town. Remember to book in advance! Good restaurants are rare in the area, and this one is understandably very popular. We will gladly return!

Step through "La Vieille Porte" and you enter another dimension, the world of gastronomy. The chef is a true artist of flavor, which he elevates with virtuosity. His talent is a delight from beginning to end. Each visit is a culinary pleasure. The place is very welcoming, with a family atmosphere. The kitchen is open: nothing to hide, quite the opposite. The lunch menu, at €22, begins with an amuse-bouche, always a delightful surprise, followed by a starter, a main course, and a dessert. At this price, for this level of enjoyment, I know of no other restaurant that can compete.

We went to this restaurant on a recommendation and were not disappointed. From the excellent service by the owner to the table decorations, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We opted for the set lunch menu, which consisted of soup, a starter, a main course, and either dessert or a small cheese selection. Everything was delicious and very reasonably priced (€22). We particularly enjoyed the red wine we chose, a Syrah Côtes du Rhône. The espresso was quite good, though a bit too strong for our taste with little crema. The restrooms were very clean. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.

This is a restaurant I've often walked past without ever having the chance to go in. What a pleasant surprise: excellent food and outstanding service. You can tell that the chef, his wife, and the entire team put their heart and soul into their work.

The place is friendly and welcoming. The service is impeccable. The meals are delicious, although the portions are small.

We are completely satisfied. The food, service, and atmosphere all met our expectations.
