An ideally located restaurant with service always provided with a smile. The atmosphere is calm, and the space between the tables is appreciable. The food is always quality. It's a place that I particularly recommend in summer, to enjoy a walk on the beach after a meal or to eat on the terrace.

We came for lunch a few weeks ago, and were very well received, with our baby in a stroller! The food was excellent, the team very pleasant, the service fast. We recommend and will come back with pleasure to enjoy the terrace facing the sea on sunny days :) Special mention for the lunch menu served on Saturdays.

Very nice place with menus for everyone. Excellent cuisine, to be repeated without hesitation. Really pleasant waitresses and waiters.
New visit in October 2024.
Always well received in the evening with an excellent menu. Always succulent, well presented and the white wine (chinon) excellent.
Thanks again; we will come back!

I must confess before all that I am a return customer to this place every time I get a chance travelling to La Baule and its surroundings, here we are located at the West end of the Bay of Le Pouliguen, that circles a 5 miles long beach, with a beautiful sea view outdoor terrasse weather permitting.
La Voile d'Or is a perfect place to indulge, very nice and welcoming and careful staff, outstandind meals, good wine list selection at affordable prices, not taking advantage of you, and menu prices that are very competitive, starting with a 2 courses menu at 27 euros and the 3 courses one at 32 only. Hard to find better around here.
Then you might choose to upgrade to mre luxury menus starting from less than that makes your day.

A real moment of pleasure
Creativity, flavors, association, originality, quantity, generosity, setting, friendliness of staff. Everything contributes to having a wonderful taste experience. Well done to the chef 👍🏻
The weekday price is unbeatable.
A little less speed in the service would be a point of improvement but that in no way spoils the pleasure of the dishes.
Recommended (not too much to keep the address 😉)

Après un accueil sympathique, et des serveurs attentionnés, une belle surprise en bouche. Les mets sont toujours délicieux et joliment servis. Le suel reproche que nous pouvions faire c'est la température de l'établissement. C'est un peu décevant de déjeuner en ayant froid.
