We were initially put off by the receptionist, who seemed to be staring at her schedule, saying, "Good evening, I'm listening," and then by the rather uninspired aperitif, which we found rather disappointing and was accompanied by a few special chips (no amuse-bouche). The rest of the meal (a €50 set menu) was quite good but not exceptional. The restaurant's main strength is its setting, with a magnificent ocean view.

The fisherman's platter for 3 people, with 4 oysters, 4 langoustines, and a few whelks for €31, is a bit small.

In a completely renovated space, we had a wonderful evening on the terrace, thanks to both the warm welcome and the delicious food.
I highly recommend this place for a pleasant time during the day as well. The team was fantastic, dynamic, and always smiling.

A delightful surprise at Café de la Plage in Le Pouliguen ✨
A warm welcome, stunning decor, a lovely sea view, delightful staff… and a huge favorite was the piña colada, perfectly executed with its incredibly rich foam 😍
And the mille-feuille… absolutely divine: light, airy, and delicious!

A lovely break during our walk.
We were immediately charmed by the little message on the outdoor chalkboard that welcomes you at any time, then by the very friendly welcome, the magnificent view, and a delightful surprise when we tasted our little coconut and our sour cream cake, which we loved! And a delicious little homemade cookie! A quick visit to the perfectly maintained restrooms. Well done!
We will gladly return!
