We wanted to book a table for dinner and were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a fantastic show that was suitable for both children/teenagers and adults. The atmosphere was very friendly, warm, and welcoming. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. In short, a great evening; we highly recommend this bar/restaurant!

L'etape du berger

28/08/2026: A very good meal at the foot of the Tourmalet pass, excellent meat cooked on the brazier, very good cheese, and a delicious blueberry tart. Very warm welcome...
28/08/2026: Exceptional Magnificent setting Welcomed by the Chef His motto: I cook simply but with the best ingredients thanks to my network of partners Example: he partnered with one of the best cheesemakers in the world to offer the finest matured cheeses of the region on his menu (the P'tit Mignon sheep's cheese made by the 4th best cheesemaker in the world, D. Bouchait) In addition to being a chef, he is a farmer and producer with 1400 head of cattle The meat is of exceptional quality, meltingly tender and cooked to perfection The desserts are equally impressive; I recommend the homemade blueberry tart topped with rum-infused whipped cream All this at very reasonable prices Oh, and the chef is a big rugby fan and, incidentally, a fan of the Toulouse club Nobody's perfect! Signed, a La Rochelle supporter
