A really lovely and authentic place!
Magnificent view.
Top-notch local cuisine. Special mention for the garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew) and the meats cooked over an open fire.
We go there almost every year and have never been disappointed.
We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant at the summit of the Col du Tourmalet.
The view from the terrace where we had lunch is splendid.
The sausage and mashed potatoes were absolutely amazing, as were the steak and fries.
The desserts were also top-notch, as was the wine.
It's incredible to find fries of such high quality at over 2,000 meters altitude.
This just goes to show that when you're a truly motivated professional, you can produce remarkable quality cuisine no matter where you are.
Well done to the whole team, and a special shout-out to the very kind waiter who worked on the Place des Héros. Until next time, and well done again.

A fantastic stop, with a rather unexpected atmosphere.
We enjoyed a meal with Basque songs. The servers were incredibly helpful. The cheese was excellent. A wonderful experience, highly recommended.
