While cycling the Loire, we recommend this restaurant. We enjoyed an excellent andouillette de Jargeau, very well cooked, as part of a set menu (main course and dessert) for €19. The service was efficient and friendly. There is a choice of 4 or 5 courses on the menu.

We discovered this brasserie with its warm and inviting atmosphere during a weekend getaway in the region. We were greeted by very pleasant waitresses and equally friendly staff at the bar. The restaurant offers quality service that is quick and friendly, complemented by delicious and generously portioned dishes. The setting is also very pleasant, as the small square where the restaurant is located is quite charming. Finally, I would like to emphasize that everyone working at the restaurant is very kind and helpful! Thank you for the wonderful time I had here; I highly recommend this brasserie.

Passing through Briare on my cycling tour, I stopped for a coffee at L'Agriculture. A warm welcome, a generous dessert (ordered with the coffee), and a full refill of fresh water before hitting the road again in the sunshine. Thank you for this lovely break.

A very good experience today. We happened to be passing by on our way to the canal bridge walk. The menu included avocado and shrimp, lamb skewers, and cherry tart. We received a very warm welcome with a smile, quick service, and fresh, high-quality products.

I decided to stop by this brasserie with a friend for a drink. We sat on the terrace, and the sun was shining. The waiter was friendly and smiling. The terrace is very large, and inside there's a nice bar and a lovely dining room. The menu offers a wide selection at competitive prices.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation due to personal circumstances, and honestly, I didn't expect such consideration. A huge thank you to Brahmi, who took the time to understand the situation and accepted the cancellation despite the commission fees. This kind of human touch is rare these days, so it deserves to be mentioned. Even without being able to stay there, this experience left me with a very positive impression. You can tell there are real people behind it, with respect and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment. Thank you again 🙏

Restaurant Le Domaine des Roches

18/05/2026: The location is stunning and timeless; we were there in the autumn, and the colors and light were magnificent. The hotel's common areas have old-world charm: creaking parquet floors, a beautiful wooden staircase, fireplaces, and so on. However, this charm is somewhat less romantic in the rooms, with aging carpets, yellowed paint, and bathrooms that are in dire need of renovation. Aside from the comfortable bedding (the bed, in particular, was very large!), we didn't find the room up to 4-star standards. The spa area is pleasant, especially since we were the only guests. The hammam met our expectations, and the pool was clean and warm. The glass-enclosed space surrounded by greenery is very pleasant when the sun is shining. The massage was of very high quality, although it was performed in what was once a guest room, without any real effort to transform it into a proper wellness space. Finally, the restaurant was exceptional and more than reasonably priced for the quality. We regretted not having booked to return on the second night, the restaurant was full!
