A cleverly crafted tasting menu, building to modern and comforting desserts, meticulous attention to sauces that elevate each dish, a superb wine pairing, and a warm and attentive front-of-house and kitchen staff, all within a welcoming and elegant setting – this is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the region.

16/05/2026: On a commandeer's table with two menus. All desserts are very good. Excellent service, and even better. Delicious and great value for money. Will come again next time.
03/05/2026: A wonderful discovery for lunch with friends (May 3, 2026). The menu is short, a sign of fresh, seasonal produce. Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. A very warm welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant at the foot of the Château d'Abat-Rideau. Well done to the whole team!

Le Grand Monarque

30/12/2025: I stayed here last May with my family on a trip through France and Germany. This hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. However my favorite part of this town were the cats. We had been in France for 3-4 days and I did not see any cats. I missed mine back home very much. When we arrived late at night there were several near the shops and hotel.
13/11/2025: Comfortable hotel in the heart of the city. The castle is a 5-minute walk away. Spacious and comfortable room. Highly recommended!
