L'ALCHIMISTE sur Gennevilliers

We went to this restaurant on Saturday night for a birthday celebration, and everything was perfect: the welcome, the food, the decor, etc. We were lucky enough to have an amazing DJ with great music. I highly recommend this place; we had an incredible evening.

A wonderful experience at L’Alchimiste restaurant in Gennevilliers. A huge thank you to Samira for her fantastic welcome: she made us feel completely at ease, even without a reservation, on the day of the Morocco-Senegal final—amazing! 👏 Aziz and Abdel provide impeccable service, always with a smile, easy to talk to, and a real knack for making customers feel comfortable. The atmosphere is chill despite the match: football was definitely on, given it was the final, but the lighting was dim, the DJ was cool, and the ambiance was relaxed and laid-back. The menu is appealing, with plenty of tempting options. The dishes were delicious, and the shisha was perfect for unwinding, especially with a small glass of mint tea at the end. I highly recommend it! 👍

Hello I wanted to share an experience I had on December 22nd. I've seen a lot of talk about the "manager," and since I haven't been able to identify him, perhaps he's the person I'm about to mention. I'm not usually one for criticism; I prefer to highlight positive things. However, this particular experience deserves to be shared because I was genuinely surprised. I ordered the daily special, and an elderly gentleman with glasses brought the dishes (3 sirloin steaks). On two plates, there were side dishes (fries). Mine didn't. So, I politely asked, with a smile, that the fries were missing. This person replied: "You'll have to wait; I only have two hands!" I thought he was joking, so I just smiled at him, and he left. My colleagues at the table told me: "Don't mind him; he's always like that." One minute later, a young man brought me my side dish (who was very friendly, by the way). I didn't want to make a scene, but I wanted to speak to the person in question, but he left after saying those words. I could tell he was annoyed because he didn't even come back to give me the side dish but sent his colleague instead. It's a shame he's tarnishing the quality of this restaurant because the food was very good, and the rest of the staff are up to the restaurant's standards, except for him…
